New This Fall: From Situation to Story

A small-group workshop for memoir writers who want to gain greater insight into what their story is really about. Using Vivian Gornick’s distinction between situation and story as our guiding framework, we’ll explore how narrative emerges from the fact of our lived experience. No prior familiarity with Gornick’s work is required.

Seven Saturdays | October 31 – December 19, 2026 (no session November 28, the Saturday after Thanksgiving)
